# Roibos

## Connect to Channex

Email the Roibos support team to request a connection to Channex

## Create the Roibos Channel

Go to the channels tab and click on "Create"

Select **Roibos** as the channel

Title - Enter the name you would like here to describe this connection

Group: Choose the correct group of which property you need to connect.

Property: Choose the property you wish to connect from Channex

Username: This will be the username provided to you

Password: This will be the password provided

Booking total Type: Choose here if you want total with taxes or without

Test Connection - This button will check if we have access to that property in Roibos, if there is an error please check your property ID. You might need to ask Roibos support to check if Channex is connected.

Contract: Roibos works with many contracts, if there are more than 1 contract you need to repeat and make a new channel per contract.

Press Test Connection first and then select contract from the list

## Mapping

Click the mapping tab if the test button is a success, this will bring up mapping table.

Now you can map the room types from Channex to the Roibos Room types and also any rate plans.

Make sure all is mapped and nothing left unmapped.

Once you save the channel please activate it
